Taking a slight hiatus from touring in 2015, Brady appeared on Season 11 of ABC's hit reality TV show The Bachelorette. Of this time, Brady says, "It was easily the most exciting, but also one of the most painful seasons I've ever experienced."
With a surplus of emotions and newfound experiences from love to heartbreak, he
disappeared into the studio in Nashville, TN, to write and record 10 new songs. "In many ways these songs saved me," says Brady.
His sophomore LP Tried & True was released in 2017, blending genres of folk and soul while also capturing hints of the gospel music he grew up on. The album debuted at #22 on the Billboard Heatseeker and Folk/Americana Charts.

In 2013, Brady Toops released his breakout self-titled LP, produced by David Leonard, gaining a growing audience of heartfelt fans and earning a reputation as a deeply soulful Singer/Songwriter.
